Code of Conduct
Every participant must consent to abide by this code of conduct, which will be strictly enforced by the organisers throughout the event. We rely on the cooperation of every participant to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for everyone.
Our conference is committed to creating an experience free from harassment for everyone, irrespective of their gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or the absence thereof), or choices in technology. Harassment in any form towards conference attendees is unacceptable. This includes sexual language and imagery, which are inappropriate in any conference setting, such as talks, workshops, breakout rooms, and digital platforms. Violations of these rules can lead to sanctions or removal from the conference without a refund, at the discretion of the organisers.
Harassment encompasses derogatory verbal comments about gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, choices in technology, sexual images in public areas, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, intrusive photography or recording, persistent disruption of talks or events, and unwanted sexual attention.
If any participant is asked to cease harassing behaviour, immediate compliance is expected. The conference organisers reserve the right to take suitable measures, including issuing a warning or expelling the offender from the conference without a refund, in response to any harassing behaviour.
Should you find yourself subjected to harassment, observe it happening to someone else, or have other related concerns, please approach a member of the organising team without delay. The organisers are also reachable via email.
Our organisers are ready to support participants in dealing with harassment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the conference. Your participation is highly valued.
These rules are to be adhered to throughout the entirety of the conference, during all workshop activities, and at any social events associated with the conference.
